Deep Scratch and Gouge Remover is a specialty product designed to desensitize the
more severe gouges and scratches in the plate surface that even Waste Eliminator may not
correct. Although Deep Scratch and Gouge Remover cannot restore metal to the plate or to
the damaged image it can many times make the plate printable when no other product can.
By using Deep Scratch and Gouge Remover, you can save valuable time and make-over cost
on previously unusable plates.
Deep Scratch & Gouge Remover should be applied only with a clean commercial cloth,
such as a cotton pad to avoid product contamination associated with the typical
commercially cleaned press rags, thus assuring proper results from Deep Scratch &
Gouge Remover. Plate area should be wiped clean with water using a clean pad. After
application, scratches and gouges are now desensitized and will not print.
