Waste Eliminator was designed, as the name implies, to eliminate the waste
associated with many areas of the plate. It cleans and conditions all metal offset plates
quickly and completely. It removes gum blind, surface trash, oxidation, and water spots,
etc., while rendering scratches ineffective and desensitized. Plates now will print sharp
and clean, with additional impression life. Waste Eliminator is an effective way to reduce
make-over, plus valuable product time and cost.
To use Waste Eliminator, apply with a commercial clean wipe to the plate, such as a
cotton pad. This is recommended because of the possible contamination associated with the
typical commercially cleaned press rag, thus assuring proper results from Waste
Eliminator. Waste Eliminator should be applied before dropping the ink rollers. After
application, wipe off the product with water using a clean pad to prevent product
contamination. If you must use after inking the plate, be sure to remove ink before
application and proceed with normal instructions.
